I did a private swap over at swap-bot with wrgmama & goddessamy - online friends, we made something for each other - in a kit form.
We had to make the item, then make a kit for them to make the same thing themselves - complete with instructions.
Here's the matchboxes I made - the instructions & images are rolled up and tied with a ribbon, inside their blank boxes.
I painted the blank boxes with Tim Holtz crackle paints, printed and cut out my gorgeous Louise Brook images, adhered black german scrap wings, a black brad on the front of the boxes for a 'pretend' handle... you really need to push these boxes from the back to open properly :).. I also added a diamante on Louise's necklace - but did it after I scanned.
I really enjoyed this little swap, and am considering another........ anyone interested ?
I have been wanting to do a journal for a long time - over a year now, and finally made a conscious effort... here are my first 10 pages. They are approximately 5 x 7.5 inches big, and I have pasted each one into a bound journal notebook.
Because my theory on journalling, means it's all about me, and it doesn't matter what I do in MY journal... then you may find that some of my pages may contain some personal information (so please don't hold it against me..LOL)

I have made some more new cards, some are available for trade and others are available from my ETSY store. Please see the links on the right hand sidebar to view my ETSY STORE or my flickr site :)
Thanks for looking!
If you want to see the cards up close and personal - to read text etc - then simply click on the image :)
Here's a few cards I have made to trade - I have an available folder on flickr that is updated
regularly for other cards to trade too! I find it hard to maintain all
the sites with the same information - such a repetitive process sorting
it all out.
So
It's easier to use ONE place - and flickr is my choice for that. I will
still upload "posts" here so you get to see my latest work too.
Hello,
I have decided to give you a sneak peek at this project.
From this - Here is the original chess set that we all began with - it was just the chinese chess set itself.
To this:
The wonderful Kerri Posson hosted a challenge last year, in which both Bec and I were lucky enough to participate in. We had a ball altering this project - so here is a sneak peak at what the artists came up with - all from the same base product of a 'chinese chess set'.... Bec's is bottom centre, mine is bottom right corner :)
You can view the original post here: http://kerriposson-artist.blogspot.com/2008/02/sneak-peak.html
Enjoy!
Ok, I know I'm crazy - but I have decided to start a new blog at Blogspot - my reason being simply that it has more traffic and people to share my art with.
I love vox, love the way you can upload from flickr so easily, and I love the ability to upload multiple pics with the click of a button. I don't seem to be able to do this at blogspot - its a matter of each image being selected one by one from the computer folders (which is painful). Hopefully someone will know an easier way, or have an uploading tool that actually works!! The one from the blogspot page didn't work for me at all... grrr frustrating trying to upload a whole pile of pics.
The new blog will only have my most recent stuff, as I have already got everything i have done here and at flickr. So if you would like to see what I'm up to lately - then please visit my new blog "ARTIVITY" (I love my new name too :)
Am I mad?
Will I keep up with VOX as well....?? Dunno, probably not - as One place is hard enough to keep up with.
I guess if I have a nice big LINK on this blog to my MAIN BLOG, then people will be able to find me... I hope so, as I love visitors, chats, sharing and comments on my sites.
Please check me out at my new home - http://auslorri.blogspot.com/
Oh, also wanted to let you know that I will trade ephemera/paper arts/goodies too, if anyone is interested.
Today, I have scanned and uploaded a pile of atc's which are available for trading. I couldn't bear to part with a few (below) however there are lots very similar, so If you would like to trade - please see my "COLLECTIONS" and "Available ATC's for Trade" folder... and then drop me a line.
Stay Creative!
