I did a private swap over at swap-bot with wrgmama & goddessamy - online friends, we made something for each other - in a kit form.
We had to make the item, then make a kit for them to make the same thing themselves - complete with instructions.
Here's the matchboxes I made - the instructions & images are rolled up and tied with a ribbon, inside their blank boxes.
I painted the blank boxes with Tim Holtz crackle paints, printed and cut out my gorgeous Louise Brook images, adhered black german scrap wings, a black brad on the front of the boxes for a 'pretend' handle... you really need to push these boxes from the back to open properly :).. I also added a diamante on Louise's necklace - but did it after I scanned.
I really enjoyed this little swap, and am considering another........ anyone interested ?
Hi Everyone,
Because I love words, quotes, script and beautiful lettering - I have decided on this, for our next theme for Scrappindipity. All our flickr group members, friends and customers are most welcome to participate...
Think gorgeous lettering, script, quotes, words, chipboard alphas, stories etc - all atc's must contain a letter of the alphabet (or more) or some text on them - the rest is up to you! Play with it, have fun and let your imagination run free - no straight digitals please - unless embellished.
Here's the Info for the swap:
