Tuesday night and Wednesday I managed to find some time to create... I also did ALL my Christmas shopping, had a few hours special sharing (trading atc's) and coffee time, with Anne (AlteredAnne) on Tuesday. I took my Mum to visit some dear friends of hers on Wed, went to Morley Galleria for 6 hours, came home - tidied the house a little - just a little (lol) caught up on some emails and made these cards:
Some are available for trade, don't be shy to ask :)) oh and Bec - I hope you like the cards featuring YOU!! xoxo

This was for an ATC Calendar page 2008 - i confused myself and missed it.!, originally uploaded by auslorri.
What to do with these? I love the colours and embossing and the Resist stamping background, hand colouring with inks, embossing, doodled edging, german scrap border. This was for a group atc calendar swap, which i think i missed the deadline for...grrr So now I have 15 of them - anyone want one??
I saw this pic today and thought I had to blog it. I love the way I am holding onto my mums finger :) and that proud look in my dads eyes!
Here's the cards - You can click the individual image to see more detail. The available one's are in the "Available Folder"
The Process:
I began with blank atc sized cardstock.
2 rubber stamped the flower (bottom left hand side) (Autumn Leaves stamp)
3 rubber stamped the tape measure across the top on a slight angle (Collections stamp)
4 inked the edges of all the cards with stazon ink
5 Selected a page from a dictionary
6 Painted lightly over the page with 'antique white' acrylic paint
7 painted across the antique white with a watery mix of red and teal coloured acrylic paint
8 tore the dictionary pages into small pieces
9 adhered the dictionary papers to the card
10 rubber stamped the girl, the numbers at the bottom, the "Enjoy the Process" stamps
11 slopped some green paint onto a piece of cardboard, grabbed a letter 0 foam stamp, and painted it over the image
12 slopped some lime green paint onto a piece of cardboard, and stamped the 'bird' at the bottom (on some cards)
I adhered some german scrap border to two cards.
I hope you enjoyed my 'therapy cards' for this evening.
