Today I decided to make my craft desk a bit more craft-friendly by adding labels to my drawers and boxes.
They match the goal tin that I posted a little while ago, and I made a canvas for the wall to bring it all together.
I don't do much crafting at home, but hopefully now that it's easier to find things I'll get a bit more done.
If a waiter stopped by right now to take your order, what cocktail or drink are you having?
Well it's only 9.20am, so it's a bit early for a cocktail! Right now I could easily drink a freshly squeezed orange and lemon juice though.
What is (or would be) your DJ name?
Masque, obviously...
I haven't posted in here for a while. I thought I'd post a few of the projects I've been working on lately over the next couple of days. Starting with what I did today - these two altered tins.
My sister and I are currently on a weight loss/healthy eating/WW journey together. I made up these tins for us to open when we reach our goal weights. Basically we'll put little notes to each other in them, along with money, little gifts for ourselves and 'before' photos, then open them up as a reward for getting to goal. We've both got wuite a long way to go, so we should have time to work up quite a nice little stash. We'll also be asking family and maybe friends to contribute to the tins as well so we'll have some surprises when we open them up.
I lightly sanded the tins and gave them a coat of gesso so that the paint would stick to them - I only did the very edges and the lids because I knew I'd be covering most of the tin with paper anyway. A few rubons, chipboard letters and embellishments later and here's the finished product.
A great night good to see both the family's and soooooo many friends together at once, certainly did'nt have any probs hearing the music. Love to all Norm
(Fuck you Vox for making me lose my last post attempt by going down halfway through)
How good have the releases for 2007 been so far?!
I thought this album was going to be really tacky, but it's far from it. Those who have heard Straight Lines and love it, and also like older Silverchair, will love this album. Those who have heard Straight Lines and hate it, will also love this album. It's like nothing Silverchair have ever done, but like everything they have ever done.
Probably the most complete album he's done, next to I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. Next person who mentions Santa Claus is coming to town gets a kick in the teeth.
Only just got this today, but I can tell it's going to get a lot of play. Just what I like from Country.
Really great to play at parties etc. Catchy, danceable, edgy.
There are quite a few more good 'uns, but these stand out for me.
